ABOUT US
There When It Matters Most
Life is filled with moments that shape us—moments of joy and celebration, moments of uncertainty and loss, and countless everyday moments when we simply need someone to walk with us.
Since 1912, St. Peter's Seminary has formed compassionate spiritual leaders who answer that call. They become priests, permanent deacons, chaplains, educators, and lay ministers who accompany people through every season of life, offering faith, hope, wisdom, and human connection to the communities they serve.
St. Peter's Seminary Foundation exists to ensure that every person called to this sacred vocation has the opportunity to respond. Together with our generous donors and partners, we invest in the formation of leaders whose ministry will touch thousands of lives for generations to come.
Because when we form one spiritual leader, we strengthen countless lives.
ST. PETER'S SEMINARY FOUNDATION
Guided by Faith, Generosity, and a Commitment to Forming Leaders for the Future of the Church
Vision
Where Generosity Forms Tomorrow’s Spiritual Leaders Who Will One Day Walk Beside Us
The St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation envisions a future where every person called to serve has the opportunity to answer that call, and where compassionate, faith-filled leaders strengthen parishes, schools, hospitals, and communities across Canada and beyond.
We envision a Church enriched by generations of well-formed spiritual leaders whose lives bring hope, wisdom, healing, and human connection to the world.
Mission
The St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation inspires philanthropy to advance the mission of St. Peter’s Seminary by securing the resources that educate, form, and support seminarians, permanent deacons, and lay students for lives of faithful leadership and service.
Through responsible stewardship, meaningful partnerships, and donor-centred engagement, we help prepare spiritual leaders who will accompany individuals, families, and communities through every season of life.

Hope: We invest in a future where faith continues to transform lives and communities.
Our History
Since 1912, St. Peter's Seminary has prepared priests, permanent deacons, lay leaders, and theologians to serve the Church with faith, compassion, and wisdom. To help ensure this vital mission would continue for generations, St. Peter's Seminary Foundation was established in 2003 as an independent, registered charitable foundation dedicated exclusively to supporting the Seminary.
Since its founding, the Foundation has partnered with generous donors, alumni, parishes, corporations, and community leaders to provide scholarships, strengthen academic and formation programs, preserve the Seminary's historic campus, and build endowments that sustain its mission. Through thoughtful stewardship, every gift is invested in forming the spiritual leaders our communities need.
Today, the Foundation continues to inspire philanthropy that supports St. Peter's Seminary's mission. Every contribution helps remove financial barriers, enrich the formation experience, and prepare graduates to serve in parishes, schools, hospitals, chaplaincies, and communities across Canada and beyond—bringing hope, faith, and compassionate leadership to people throughout life's most meaningful moments.
“St. Peter’s Seminary has a vital role in forming the spiritual leaders who will accompany God’s people and serve the Church for generations to come. Through the generosity of individuals, families, parishes, and communities across the Diocese of London and beyond, and through the support of dioceses who entrust their seminarians to this place of formation, the Seminary continues to be a source of hope and renewal for the Church.
The St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation plays an essential role in stewarding these gifts and ensuring that seminarians, deacons, and lay leaders receive the formation and support they need to answer God’s call and serve with compassion, wisdom, and faith.”
MOST REV. DANIEL MIEHM | BISHOP
Diocese of London (Since June 29, 2026)
